He Partied His Pants Off

On October 20, our little boy turned two.  We held Evan’s 2nd birthday party at Kids Town on Saturday.  So many wonderful family members and friends were able to join us, which made it extra special.  And, when we told Evan where we were going, he just kept yelling “yay, yay, yay, yay!”  His happiness never let up through the entire party.  Evan’s is obsessed with trains right now, so it was only fitting to go with a train theme for his party.  I found a super cute template from Parties by Hardie, and went a little nuts making banners, signs, place cards, etc, but I love how they turned out and Evan was super excited as well.  For the favors, I ordered red and blue train crayons from Design on a Crayon and attached them to little train activity and sticker books.  And, a lady from one of my mom’s groups made an amazing train cake–she even customized the inside to carrot cake since it’s Evan’s favorite (and we can say it’s “semi-healthy”–veggies, right ;)).

Everyone ate, drank and PLAYED!

And at the end, Evan actually partied his pants off–well, almost off!  Daddy saved them.)

Happy 2nd birthday wonderful boy!
